Hello I’m Helen! The smiling face behind Mariposa. I’ve been told that the combination of management experience, an understanding of all things technical and an obsession with beautiful design is quite a useful thing, so I’m making the most of it to help other people grow their businesses.
In the days before Mariposa I was a Marketing Manager (all the Ms!) and won a national Marketing Excellence award in 2010. Over the past decade I’ve combined freelance web & design projects with a career in business & project management, and now I’m bringing everything I’ve learned together in the work I do with Mariposa.
When I’m not doing all of the above you’ll find me baking cakes, crocheting crazy amigurumi creatures or starting yet another crafty project. And drinking tea. Of course!

The suppliers we use and recommend for web hosting and printing are the suppliers we use personally, and if we need to use an alternative supplier we’ll make sure they can deliver quality and value. If something goes wrong we’ll work with our suppliers to fix it and we’ll make sure you get what you need on time. If you click through any of the supplier links on our site and make a purchase we do earn a small commission, however if we set you up as a client we don’t earn anything. We only ever recommend companies we have complete confidence in.
